Ages: 11+

Help us represent Boatworks at this year’s Mermaid Parade at Coney Island. A delegation of Boatworks alumni will collaborate over a series of workshops to create a float for the parade with one of our Opti’s as the centerpiece. Help us develop a theme through a social justice lens and construct a float that will command attention! Join us for any or all of our 4 workshops from March to June. Participate in multiple workshops to earn a spot in the parade. Let’s get creative!

Workshops are on specified Saturdays from March through June (3/11, 4/29, 5/20, and 6/17) from 12:00pm-3:00pm.
